Why in the world hasn't Carmelo Anthony announced where he's going to play next season? It's been nine days—nine days!—since NBA free agency started and he still hasn't made a decision. But it sounds like he might finally be ready to make one.

According to the New York Daily News, who spoke to a close friend of Carmelo earlier today, the free agent is expected to make an announcement about his future sometime tomorrow. The friend—who was reportedly with Anthony last week when he worked out with Kevin Durant and Kevin Love in Los Angeles—told the Daily News that Carmelo still isn't 100 percent sure about where he's going. But according to him, he's going to have his mind made up by tomorrow—and he seems to be leaning towards returning to the Knicks.

"He will have something for everybody on Thursday," the friend said. "He is really torn because this is the biggest decision of his career. But he wants to get it done in New York. He told me he believes in Phil [Jackson]."

Can you wait one more day, Knicks fans?
