Over the course of the last few months, Pacers forward Paul George has been dealing with his fair share of baby mama drama. A former stripper named Daniela Rajic gave birth to a baby girl back in May that she claims belongs to George and, as a result, she has filed a lawsuit against him in New York City asking for child support and a court-ordered paternity test to prove that he is, in fact, her baby's father.

On Monday, George's lawyers responded to the lawsuit by moving the case to a federal court because of the fact that Rajic now resides in NYC while George lives in Indiana. Further, they also revealed that Rajic is going to fight for full custody of the couple's daughter because she says that George "is not capable of the care of the child…due to, among other things, his professional obligations, his lifestyle, and his residency away from the child." So that's one more thing that the two sides are going to have to work out in court.

The good news is that George's lawyers continue to contend that George will take responsibility for the child if a paternity test proves he's her father. And a representative for George told the New York Post that the lawsuit and drama surrounding George and Rajic is relatively "routine."

"This is a routine paternity case," the rep said, "But perhaps someone finds it unusual that a high profile athlete is willing to accept responsibility and provide emotional and financial support for a child once it is legally determined to be his."

Hopefully, both sides can work things out and move forward sometime this summer. But for now, it's clear that George is going to spend at least part of his offseason dealing with the lawsuit that Rajic filed and trying to come to some kind of agreement with her in court.
