Take a trip down memory lane as we share a crazy moment at the podium, an amazing posterization, an absolute on-court fail or a memorable shooting performance from the postseason of the National Basketball Association in This Day in NBA Playoffs History.

With the 1997 NBA Finals tied at two games a piece, the Chicago Bulls were dealt a bad hand when Michael Jordan called his personal trainer to his hotel room in Utah less than 48 hours before Game 5. MJ was dealing with a hangover stomach flu. After getting looked at by the team's trainers, they believed there was no way Jordan would be fit enough to play. They greatly underestimated Jordan's competitive spirit.

"I almost played myself into passing out," Jordan said, after the Bulls' 90-88 win over the Jazz. "I came in and I was almost dehydrated and it was all just to win a basketball game. I couldn't breathe. My energy level was really low. My mouth was really dry. They started giving me Gatorade and I thought about IV."

In the end, Jordan scored 38 points on 13/27 shooting with seven boards and five assists in 44 minutes.
