To celebrate the fact that Lotus has an F1 team, and that F1 is cool, Lotus just announced this special edition: the Lotus Exige LF1. We suspect that there's going to be a debut ceremony in which Pastor Maldonado will drive one of the 81 LF1s full bore into a Sauber race car.
The LF1 gets a black and gold livery with red accents and sits atop gold wheels, simply because that all looks badass. Inside the LF1 the interior has also gotten the black and gold treatment, as well as some plaques to let you know that what you're driving is extra-special.
Sadly, since the DOT didn't renew the Elise/Exige's airbag exemption, this won't be available in the USA.
