Brazil's David Luiz Scores Knockout Round's First Goal; Chile Answers

Brazil drew first blood against Chile thanks to a corner kick and possibly an extra foot from Chile.

Brazil's first goal of the World Cup is one the country would rather forget. That's not the case for its first goal of the knockout stages though.

A well-placed corner from Neymar got turned by Thiago Silva's header, right on to David Luiz's knee for the goal. A close look at the above clip shows Chile might have something to do with that goal. If it did, Alexis Sánchez made up for it thanks to an excellent pass from Eduardo Vargas at the bottom corner.
