This game is best remembered for one moment: Kobe Bryant's alley-oop to Shaquille O'Neal, perhaps the most happy moment of their entire basketball marriage. But they could never have gotten there if not for an epic collapse by Portland, who led by 15 with 10 minutes remaining in the game only to miss 13 consecutive shots (including six by Rasheed Wallace) and watch their lead evaporate. A 5-for-23 team shooting performance in the final period sealed the Blazers' fate, and Shaq's dunk put the final nail in the coffin.
