This series is widely held as one of the best ever, and justifiably so; of the seven games, five of them were decided by either one or two points. That included Game 7, when the Celtics trailed by double-digits at one point but came back to tie the score late in the fourth quarter. Not surprisingly, Larry Bird then hit what would be the game-winning jumper with 1:03 left. Maurice Cheeks could have tied the game with free throws when he went to the line with 29 seconds on the clock, but he missed one of his attempts and the Celtics held on for the win.
