“It’s bitterly disappointing to lose to this team three years in a row. But we’re competing against the Michael Jordan of our era.” That was the best explanation Indiana Pacers head coach Frank Vogel could muster following last night's 117-92 loss to the the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the 2014 Eastern Conference Finals. While there's no denying that LeBron James has played a pivotal role in eliminating the Pacers for the last three consecutive years, Vogel definitely got everyone's attention by referring to The King as "the Michael Jordan of our era."
And apparently, the praise didn't stop there. Vogel also "described the Heat as the 'Chicago Bulls of our era.'" Hmm. What do you think about Vogel's comments?
Now, more importantly, what does Jordan think about his comments?
Anything else you want to add, MJ?
Ah, of course!
