If you throw two turbochargers into the engine bay of the Chevrolet SS and shake them around—that's how tuning works, right?—you get 1,000 horsepower. Add in a manual transmission to appease the enthusiasts who would be interested in such an insane vehicle and you have the Hennessey Chevrolet SS.

You can choose an automatic, but we're not expecting many people to go that route. Also available are HPE475, HPE550, HPE600, HPE650, and HPE800 levels, all of which refer to the amount of power the engine produces. It's like a Sleep Number bed for lunatics who like killing tires. The car also gets a fancy new alcantara steering wheel, custom alloy wheels, and some carbon fiber aero bits.
