Early this morning, the U.S. Men's National Team released an image of the jersey that USMNT players are going to wear at this summer's World Cup in Brazil. And the reaction to that jersey was pretty one-sided with just about everyone on Twitter saying that they hated the fact that the jersey is so plain. But strangely enough, it wasn't the only image of a new jersey that was released this morning.
About an hour after the image of the USMNT jersey was released, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took to Twitter to show off the new Nike Elite 51 uniforms that they're going to wear next season:
And that uniform got a much stronger reaction from people on Twitter. There are a lot of people who LOVE the Bucs' new look:
Love them! Now if more NFL teams would just acknowledge that they're not playing in the 70s anymore. Or the 60s... http://t.co/FpZt0acU0D— Leif Gantvoort (@prezofmoon) March 3, 2014
Also, love the Buccaneers new uniforms. Wow. Can't wait to see how Nike redesigns the Jets uniforms when/if they get around to it.— Jeff (@williamsjeff1) March 3, 2014
I love that the new buccaneers jerseys have reflective chrome on the numbers— Murph Man (@MurphMan113) March 3, 2014
There are also those who absolutely HATE it:
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers new uni's are ugly. Hate to say it.— LifeRocksYo (@LifeRocksYo) March 3, 2014
Really hate those new Buccaneers uniforms at first glance.— Greg Pinto (@Greg_Pinto) March 3, 2014
And then, there are some people who are saying, "Wait, are the Bucs playing in the XFL next season?!?":
New Buccaneers uniforms are basically just the XFL's San Francisco Demons. pic.twitter.com/RxHHvtLAna— David P. Woods (@davidpwoods) March 3, 2014
Where do you stand on the Bucs' new unis? Nike is set to release more images of the uniform later today. We'll be sure to post them when they're available.
Here's another photo of the uniform that the Bucs tweeted out a short time ago. You can click the link they've provided to see other shots of it as well.
