Move over, Miguel Cabrera. Just a few days after Cabrera agreed to a lucrative contract extension worth $292 million over 10 years, Mike Trout has reportedly inked a new deal that will keep him with the Los Angeles Angels for another six years. The entire contract comes to $144.5 million. Now, you may be saying to yourself, "it's only $24+ million per year, how is this even comparable to Miggy's deal?" Well, according to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the breakdown of the six-year deal is $5.25 million, $15.25 million, $19.25 million in the first three years and then, it jumps to $33.25 million in each of the last three years!

And if that's not crazy enough, Trout will become a free agent at 29 years old, which is essentially still in his prime. So, when that time comes around, if he is still playing as well as he has been in his first three years in the league, Trouty could command a contract which starts off at $33.25 million per year. At least.

If you have kids, start teaching them how to play baseball right now!
