Teams: Golden State Warriors vs. Denver Nuggets
Result: 162-158, Warriors
MVPs: Chris Mullin, Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond
Led by Don Nelson, the Golden State Warriors of the '90s ran a hard and fast style of ball that could overwhelm and exhaust opponents. At the front of all this movement were Nelson's star players: Tim Hardaway, Chris Mullin, and Mitch Richmond, three men who spaced the court and required endless attention from their defenders. In their 1990 game against the Denver Nuggets, the trio proved once again that they were a force to be reckoned with, as Mullin dropped 38 points and Hardaway and Richmond chipped in 32 and 29, respectively. The Nuggets made a close contest out of this game but, in the end, the power known as Run-TMC was just too much for Denver to handle.
