Teams: Philadelphia Warriors vs. New York Knicks
Result: 169-147, Warriors
MVPs: Wilt Chamberlain, Richie Guerin, Willie Naulls
Everyone knows that Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points in a game, but an underrated aspect of the actual contest itself is how well his opponent played too. Three different Knicks scored over 30 points when they went up against the Philadelphia Warriors in 1962, and though New York found themselves in a 16-point gap at the end of the first quarter, they at least deserve credit for continuing to fight. History was fated for that night, but they did their best to get in the way of it.
