Jay Z is not messing around right now when it comes to snatching up NFL players. A lot of people assumed that he would be going after guys who are going to be a part of the 2014 NFL Draft class in a few months. And while he is probably going to go after some of those guys, he's also signing seasoned NFL vets right now. He recently agreed to a deal with Ndamukong Suh. And earlier today, Roc Nation Sports announced that they've added another NFL player to their roster as well:

Hakeem Nicks also confirmed his new deal with Roc Nation Sports:

If you're a New York Giants fan and you want the G-Men to re-sign Nicks for next season, this could be good news. For marketing purposes, we would assume that Jay Z would want to try and get Nicks, who is going to be a free agent this offseason, to sign with the team that he has spent his entire career with. But then again, we all thought the same thing about Robinson Cano, and he's getting ready to play for the Seattle Mariners this season. So stay tuned. It'll be interesting to see what Jay Z & Co. decide to do with Nicks.
