Alshon Jeffery has had one of the more impressive season-to-season improvements in recent NFL history. Jeffery has already cracked 1,000 yards receiving and has tripled his yards receiving from last year.

Tonight he kept the good times rolling with 84 yards receiving against the Dallas Cowboys, but stole the show with a great touchdown catch towards the end of the first half. Somehow, Jeffery was able to maintain his balance with two Cowboy defenders on him and keep both feet inbounds.

After watching the amazing play, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoportreminded everyone about the time that Lane Kiffin told Jeffery that he would be pumping gas for a living if he went to South Carolina. Desperation played a role in Kiffin trying to entice Jeffery to come to Tennessee and Kiffin took it too far with that dig.

Desperation never looked good on anyone, and Alshon is proving everyone wrong with consistent performances this season.
