10 Reasons Why Kobe Bryant Will (or Won't) Be Close to Great Again Image via USA Today Sports

Mike retired before it got to this point but still. If faced with these odds he would come back and dominate. At 40, Jordan was averaging 20 points and making All-Star games, who's to say Kobe couldn't do the same at 35? Mike left the game before his body betrayed him but when he came back, he had bad knees and was still an All-Star. The silver lining here is Kobe didn't re-injure his Achilles.
