You would think UNC was just killing Old Dominion with the three-pointers if you read UNC won 80-20. But look at Old Dominion's basketball schedule and you'll realize it hasn't played UNC this season. You'll realize ESPN doesn't post NCAA Footbal 14 scores either, especially those played on the Freshman level. So that only means one thing: Old Dominion (a Division-I team) really got beat that badly. After conquering Old Dominion, UNC agreed to cut the game short by reducing the fourth quarter to 10 minutes.

The game started closely enough with the Monarchs trailing UNC, 14-13. Any hope they had was promptly crushed by the second quarter, as the Tar Heels scored 35 unanswered points.

Crazy numbers include:

  • UNC quarterback Marquise Williams's 409 passing yards and five touchdowns.
  • UNC's 312 rushing yards.
  • Old Dominion's 1-14 in third down conversions.
  • And of course, Old Dominion allowing 80 POINTS.
