Earlier this week, a Harlem Globetrotters player nearly got decapitated after throwing down a thunderous dunk and bringing down the entire backboard with him. Thankfully, no one comes close to dying in the clip above. But a Globetrotters player named Thunder Lawdoes murder the world record for the longest basketball shot ever by sinking a shot from 109 feet and 9 inches away. According to the Globetrotters, the previous record was 104 feet and 7 inches.
It's an amazing shot, for sure. But it's still nothing compared to this:
