San Francisco linebacker Ahmad Brooks is angry. Not just because his team lost to the Saints but also how it lost to them. Brooks sacked Brees for a fumble that was recovered by Patrick Willis with just three minutes remaining. This should've clinched the game for the 49ers since they would've had to run out the clock as they were up 20-17. Unfortunately for San Francisco, Brooks was called for roughing the passer for getting some of Brees' head area, setting the stage for the Saints' two consequent field goals and a very furious 49ers Nation.

It's been a day since the loss, and Brooks is still mad about it. "I didn't hit him with my hand or my helmet," Brooks said. "I basically bear-hugged him. That's just how football is played. I think this s--- is bull----. Football, the way they call stuff these days, it's watered down. It ain't real no more."

The GIF certainly doesn't look like a bear-hug since Brees got rocked badly, but at the same time it doesn't look like a roughing the passer call either. Brooks ran into him and his arm was near the upper chest. That's still a no-go in today's NFL sadly.

There's also a possibility that Brooks can get fined, which is something ESPN commentators Ray Lewis and Trent Dilfer was none too pleased about. Lewis even offered to pay half of the fine with his black card, because he cares for NFL players and he just got it like that.

Not everyone has to be upset, however. We still got blessed with this glorious GIF.
