We've heard (and seen) the read option, but this is a little ridiculous. A read option to an invisible running back? Now, that probably wasn't how the Kansas City Chiefs drew it up on the playbook, but it did seem to do the trick, making the Texans' Whitney Marcilus wonder if Alex Smith was going to take it himself or hand it off to his invisible back.
Surprisingly, Smith kept the ball and ran it into the endzone from five yards out.
