Jaguar has been eyeing the slice of the pie that BMW's 3-Series is squatting over for quite some time (does not sound appetizing) and the time to jump into that market segment is neigh. While I've only experienced the BMW 3-Series briefly, it was a very disappointing 20 minutes, so if Jag can produce a sedan that's 10% as engaging as the F-Type, it will be a home run.

The car is going to be built on an all aluminum chassis, and 75% of that material is going to be recycled, which will make this a green car in a way that a lot of hybrids aren't.

As far as looks go, we expect it to look like a smaller and sleeker XF (pictured).
