We're not really sure why. But it's taking a looooooong time for Major League Baseball to come around to the idea of using the Internet to their advantage. It's still super difficult to embed videos off the MLB homepage. MLB shuts down a lot of popular videos featuring MLB action on YouTube. And for whatever reason, they just haven't embraced the World Wide Web like other pro sports leagues have.

A perfect example of that is this video featuring Chase Utley. About five years, a character named Mac from the TV show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia wrote a letter to Utley. And Utley just now got around to responding to it with a letter of his own. We're glad he finally did it. But uhhhhhhh…where was this five years ago?! We know you're busy, dude. But how long did this letter take to write? Five minutes? Six minutes? Seven minutes? It wasn't exactly a novel.

D'ah well. Better late than never, we guess.
