An ugly look for the organization.

Four former Vanderbilt football players are each being charged with five counts of rape and two counts of sexual battery. Twenty-year-old Brandon Vandenburg, 19-year-old Brandon Eric Banks, 18-year-old JaBorian “Tip” McKenzie, and 19-year-old Cory Batey are the suspects being charged.

The charges stem from when the four allegedly raped an unconscious woman in a Vanderbilt dorm room on June 23. University officials gave police hallway camera footage of the football players doing suspiscious behavior as evidence.

Batey is the only one of the four to be arrested after police arrived at his home. He's being held on a $350,000 bail.

Batey and McKenzie were redshirt freshmen receivers, while Banks was an all-state cornerback. Vandenburg was one of Vanderbilt's biggest recruits of the 2013 signing class. None of the four have played a game for Vanderbilt.
