Wu-Tang Clan is for the kids, "Ain't Nuthing ta Fuck Wit," and is easily one of the greatest hip-hop groups ever. But can they teach you English?
There's a lot of young listeners trying to decipher the Wu-Tang's slang and a few more trying to figure out what exactly Ghostface Killah is saying in multiple sections of Supreme Clientele, but Lions kicker Havard Rugland (a.k.a Kickaliscious) was just a Norwegian learning English. He did just that by listening to the group.
Rugland apparently told guard Rob Sims this in what sounds like a totally nonchalant manner. Like having Ghostface Killah as your English language teacher was an everyday deal:
He was like, ‘Mostly from movies and listening to Wu-Tang.’ It blew my mind.
Blowing minds in whatever way is what the Wu-Tang Clan tends to do. Rugland is definitely on the right track in life assuming he's at least competent in Wu-Terminology and becomes a good NFL kicker. He went 2-for-2 from more than 40 yards out in the preseason game against the Jets.
