Alex Rodriguez Formally Appeals the 211-Game Suspension That MLB Gave Him on Monday

He'll likely get to finish the 2013 MLB season.

Alex Rodriguez is not going down without a fight.

As expected, A-Rod filed an appeal today and will try to reduce the 211-game suspension that Major League Baseball gave to him on Monday afternoon. What does that mean for him? Well, mostly it means that he will be able to continue to play for the Yankees until an arbitrator makes a ruling on the appeal. And because the arbitrator isn't expected to making a ruling until at least November or December, it means A-Rod will be in the Yankees lineup for the remainder of the season.

So we have no choice but to wait and see what happens next...
