James Franco is a lot of things. He's an actor, student, director, teacher, author, and whatever other title he wants to throw on because he's so worldly. What he is not, however, is a car guy. We can say that after he was interviewed about the BMW i3 at the car's public unveiling.

Right off the bat he struggles by calling it an "electronic" car. Then Franco drops the knowledge that can only come from years of higher education, saying, "Cars are a huge part of everyone's lives." He fills the rest of the 42-second video without saying anything of consequence, his constant shrugs proving he has no clue what he's talking about. We won't tell him to stay in his lane (mostly because that isn't possible for him), but Franco should stay out of this one, if only to spare himself from looking stupid.
