Dustin Pedroia Signs a Seven-Year, $100 Million Contract Extension With the Red Sox

Major League Baseball has a new $100 million man. According to reports coming out of Boston, the Red Sox just agreed to a new seven-year, $100 million contract extension with their second baseman Dustin Pedroia. Pedroia is currently playing out a six-year, $40.5 million deal that will end after next season. But with the new extension in place, Pedroia is now slated to stay with the Red Sox through 2021.
