In only five days, Anderson Silva will face Chris Weidman in the main event of UFC 162. And even though The Spider should be solely focused on his upcoming fight, many people still wonder if there will ever be a super fight against Jon Jones in the future. Earlier today, Anderson put any hope of that happening to bed when he told Dave Doyle of MMA Fighting, “Jon Jones, in his class, is the best," Silva said. "If I fight Jon Jones, I’m don’t think I’m going to win.”

Wow. For someone as skilled and confident as Silva, it's kinda hard to believe he would even say something like that. The Spider further complimented Bones saying, “He’s large. He’s young. But, in the fight, I see in Jon Jones, I see myself from a long time ago. He’s very smart.”

Upon hearing Silva's comments, Jones responded with the following tweet:

Honored to hear the statements Silva made regarding a super fight me earlier today.. Doesn't change much, still working hard

So, uh, what about GSP vs. Silva in the future, Spider?
