There are a million and one Kobe Bryant plays from the NBA Finals that the NBA could have featured in their new "Forever Kobe" commercial. But they chose this one of the Black Mamba dunking all over Nets center Todd MacCulloch during the 2002 NBA Finals because, well…do we really have to explain it? Kobe doesn't pull off dunks like this much anymore. But back in 2002, he made dunks like this look easy. And they helped him become the superstar that he is today.
This commercial, which features Mos Def's "Life in Marvelous Times," will premiere tonight during the Heat/Pacers playoff game. Keep a close eye out for it. Do you like it better than the "Forever Dirk" commercial that the NBA ran with last week?
