Word of a Dutch supercar first surfaced about a year ago, yet there had been virtually no information since then about production or when we'd see the actual car. The Vencer Sarthe debuted this past weekend at Top Marques Monaco with a LS3 General Motors V8 under the hood. The mid-engine, rear-drive car produces 510 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, meaning it jumps from 0-62 in 3.8 seconds.

The thing we like most is that it's still got a six-speed manual. The lead project engineer Luuk Potze made it clear that it's not supposed to be competing with the fastest cars, it's just supposed to be an extremely enjoyable car to drive. It's estimated that 10-15 cars will be made per year and will sell for a little more than $400,000.
