After 10 years with the Giants, Osi Umenyiora is finally a free agent in a group that includes the likes of Greg Jennings, Wes Welker, and cornerback Keenan Lewis. However, Umenyiora may just be a good catch. He's going to be Defensive Player of the Year after all...according to him:

"It wouldn't have to be a playoff team," Umenyiora said. "It could be anybody pretty much anybody who would need me to help them win, and anybody who I think is going to put me in a situation to win Defensive Player of the Year, which is what I'm going to do this year."

He also added, “My phone is on. I’m not turning my phone off. I’m open to pretty much every situation right now.” It seems as if it's not about what team Osi is going to join; it's about which team is going to join team Osi. This isn't a bad mindset, but who's going to take the chance?
