The quest to conquer congested urban roads continues. Toyota's plan is this: The i-Road three-wheeled EV concept. Making world debut this week in Geneva, the vehicle is essentially a mix of motorcycle and car. Best of both worlds! Its just 33.5-inches wide, and runs on a pair of 2kW motors. The back wheel is pushed by a lithium-ion batter pack that will help the little wonder achieve a 30mph top speed.

Driving it, apparently, will be a lot like hitting the streets on a motorbike. "Active Lean" technology keeps the i-Road level over the most uneven surfaces. Could this be the answer to city transport?
