Two of the most meme-generating, punchline-worthy teams of the 2012 NFL Season happened to be two different shades of green: Jets and Eagles. Only one of them had a Darrelle Revis, who had to sit out most of the season with a torn ACL. That might change next season, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquiry:
There’s already a rumor brewing in certain NFL circles that Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has been crunching the numbers and putting together an offer to bring the 27-year-old Revis to Philadelphia.
Eagles are going to have to shell out if they want to make this deal. The name Nnamdi Asomugha must be giving the front office headaches during this process.
