After yet another dominating performance by LeBron James on Friday against New Orleans, Hornets coach Monty Williams was asked about James and at one point in the discussion, those LeBron vs. Michael Jordan debate came up. But, the interesting thing with Monty is that, during his playing days, he competed against both guys, so hearing what he had to say should be worthwhile, right? Well, check out Williams' short and sweet to the inquiry by Joe Gerrity of Hornets247.com:
I asked Monty whether or not LeBron dominates games the same way that Jordan does, given that he played against both, and the response was stellar– “Jordan played against men. LeBron plays against young boys. That’s the difference.”
There have been many complaints that the league has been watered down much, so does Monty have a point here?
