On Wednesday night, Carmelo Anthony announced that he was thinking about sitting out of the 2013 NBA All-Star Game with a bruised right arm. But, according to a league source who spoke with the New York Daily News late yesterday, that idea is now off the table as Melo will play in the ASG. Will he play for long? Probably not. He may only get in the game for a few minutes. But, the Knicks are currently sitting in second in the Eastern Conference playoff race behind the Heat and Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra is the head coach of the Eastern Conference All-Star Team this year. So, a "few minutes" could be a very subjective term on Sunday night. We'll just have to wait and see.
