Earlier this month the website Confused.com released the findings of a study about what songs were the most dangerous to drive to. Here's the thing: Their "study" was tested on eight people. Eight. So, basically, it was bullshit, although,  we can't say we're surprised that Nickelback was on there. We imagine people get pretty enraged when that comes on the radio.

Instead of pretending to do academic research, we simply thought about our personal experiences and came up with 25 tracks that we believe could change your mood or attitude in a way that could negatively alter how  you're handling the road. With angry tracks from DMX, depressing songs from Eminem, and songs that encourage you to speed like "I Can't Drive 55," we present The 25 Most Dangerous Songs To Drive To

"Move, Bitch"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Ludacris

In an average coupe or sedan, this song will turn you into the awful (but kind of hilarious) asshole who is yelling and honking at everybody in front of you. In a larger truck with a lift and some mudding tires, you might turn into a crazy dude that goes on a rampage, waving for people to get the fuck out the way, as you roll right over all of their Cavaliers and Neons.

"Smoke Two Joints"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: The Toyes

We know many of you probably do or have smoked in your car, whether it's a long trip or just one to the grocery store. The facts remain that drugs lower your reaction time, making your driving less than up to par, meaning you're putting yourself and everybody around you at risk.

"99 Problems"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Jay-Z

In the moment when Jay-Z decides that he's "got a few dollars" and can fight the case, we're pretty sure some people are going to decide that they don't have any dollars and are going to need to speed off to get away. Let the chase begin.

"Rollin'"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Limp Bizkit

If somebody randomly called us "red cap," tossed you the keys to a Bentley, and said, "watch it," you better believe we're going to run that thing straight into the ground. As long as we don't scratch it, we're good. But that doesn't mean you can't drive that thing to hell.

"Clique"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: G.O.O.D. Music

You know all the lyrics, so you're going to be singing along. You'll likely have the bass all the way up, so you won't be able to hear any of your surroundings. If you're with your crew, everybody will likely be throwin' daps and pounds around, acting like this song is about their crew. Distraction + distraction + distraction = a fire hydrant trying to act like it's a normal part of your engine next to your water pump.

"Fast Car"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Tracy Chapman

Cliché? Yes. Deserving to be on this list? Absolutely. When you're in an emotional state and you're listening to a song that's promoting escaping everything in a fast car, there likely won't be enough pedal to push down. Just make sure you're on a highway with nobody around for this one.

"Life in the Fast Lane"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: The Eagles

Speeding is the most fun thing you can do in a car. It's also usually the most dangerous. Unfortunately, not all roads are were created for us adrenaline-loving speed junkies looking to see if the speedo really stops at 120. So, be mindful when there are others around you.

"Sweetness"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Jimmy Eat World

As is the problem with a lot of older drum- and chorus-heavy rock songs, they virtually put the mic and drumsticks into your hands. Instead of driving and paying attention, you're tapping away down the steering wheel, using the dash as your crash, the gas as your bass pedal, and the open road as your crowd. That's until you freak out, once you realize you're going 110 mph, turn the wheel for no apparent reason, and flip your car.

"Ridin'"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Chamillionaire

This track goes along with the same attitude as N.W.A.'s mentality. You've either got to sneak around, so that the cops don't see you, or you need a plan for escape. Plan B usually entails some things we wouldn't exactly categorize as "safe."

Any Song With Sirens

"Angel of Death"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Slayer

It is only natural to listen to Reign In Blood while driving. Slayer's 1986 classic is fast and heavy. "Angel of Death," the opening song, is extremely fast and heavy. It's metal at its best and inspires such fierce head banging that hitting the highway while Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman shred some intricate riffs is simply ill-advised.

"MMMBop"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Hanson

This song will instantly remind you of a high school crush who dissed you because you weren't as handsome as those weird brothers. Then, it keeps your mind off the road while you fume about lost love. A pop music recipe for disaster.

"Top Back"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: T.I.

"In a stolen automobile with the roof and the tag missin', police is tryin' to pursue me, it's nothin' but gas givin'." Top Back is a song about looking cool, feeling cool and being cool. And what do you do, when you want to feel cool? Act reckless, check to see if the ladies are watchin', and give every homie the head nod. Just make sure you're keeping you eye on the road.

"Welcome to the Jungle"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Guns N' Roses

It's not too far-fetched to say that the real concrete jungle isn't in a city, but rather on any road. People are maniacs, when they're driving, and if you aren't ready and attentive at all times, you'll end up prey.

"Highway to Hell"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: AC/DC

For all the same reasons that this track is amazing to drive to, it can also make you drive like a reckless idiot who has nothing to lose. You're head-banging, your foot is following your head, you're not paying attention to the speedo, and you really couldn't give a shit about whether there might be cops with radars chillin' on the side of the road.

"Ante Up"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: M.O.P.

"Ante Up" is a song all about showing everybody who is in charge and forcing everybody to do as you say. In auto terms, that means cutting people off, not using turn signals, and speeding past everybody in the wrong lanes.

"Jungle is Massive"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Mc Vapour

BOOYAKA, BOOYAKA. Any song that is going to A). get you dancing so fast and furious that you're throwing your limbs in and out of the vehicle, or B). laughing hysterically because you're reenacting Ali G Indahouse in your head, is likely to cause an accident. Plus you might be late for your class.

"Ride"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Ciara

There's highway hypnosis and then there's forgetting you're even in a car or on a road, because you're too busy thinking about Ciara's perfectly toned body griding, thrusting and popping through the air. Air that you imagine you're taking the place of. Have. Mercy.

"Cop Killer"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Body Count

Here's a track that's all about payback for the many,  many instances of police brutality and racial profiling that had happened in previous years. It's angry, it's loud, and it's in your face. Does that sound safe to you?

"Stan"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Eminem

Driving when you're stressed out can actually have a really relaxing and calming effect. Driving when you're depressed, however, is really not a good idea. Cars provide way too many options that a depressed person shouldn't have. They could run people over, they could crash into a building, they could drive to the liquor store, or worst of all, they could drive off of a bridge. Please advise against this.

"Act a Fool"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Ludacris

You're on the highway, heading down the road with your boys behind and beside you. You're in a Mitsubishi Eclipse or an Acura Integra, and "Act a Fool" comes on. Vibrant visions of Paul Walker's Supra and GT-R flood your mind, and you suddenly have to race everybody around you. You're so entranced that you're frightened by the horn you just honked, when you were accidentally trying to push the "NOS" button that you don't have. Don't be a wannabe tuning idiot.

"X Gon' Give It To Ya"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: DMX

All 25 of these songs could have been populated with tracks from DMX. His music is angry, makes you want to go fast, and makes you want to bash people's windows in with a pickaxe. Not to mention, if people are really true followers of him, they might think that it's acceptable to impersonate FBI officers and run away from tickets.

"Ghost Ride It"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Mistah F.A.B.

Any time that a song promotes getting out of your car, standing on your hood or lying down on your roof like you're America's Next Top model, you can bet bad things will happen. Like this. Or this. Or this.

"Fuck tha Police"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: N.W.A.

Regardless of the content of the song, people will develop a certain attitude listening to this track. And when this is the attitude, you're likely going to blow through stop lights and stop signs, run people off the road, and run from cop cruisers. Because FUCK. THA. POLICE.

"I Can't Drive 55"

Not Available Interstitial

Artist: Sammy Hagar

The dangerous part about this song is that it's 100 percent accurate. Fifty-five mph on a freeway is ridiculous and is a limit that only people 65 and above actually follow. So, if you're going to be going 80, you might as well just go 90, right? Maybe 100? Yeah, sure, fine.
