Murder Charges: The second-degree murder of Hillary Brown and the second-degree murder of Sam Garrett.
Outcome: The Hillary Brown murder was ruled justifiable homicide which spared King jail time. However, for the second murder, King wasn't so lucky. He had his charges reduced to voluntary manslaughter and Don had to serve four years in prison in 1968.
