Remember when LeBron James said he was going to compete in the 2010 Slam Dunk Contest? Well, if you've tuned in to the event that year-and the following two years, for that matter-you saw The King didn't follow through on the promise. Instead of keeping the anticipation, James mercifully killed our hopes when he told reporters he would not be competing in a Slam Dunk Contest.

Ugh. As much as we like seeing Blake Griffin jump over cars, we would love to see one of James' epic dunks in the contest. But you can't hate on The King too much for trying to protect his body. Guess we will have to settle for those in-game dunks...which is actually not that bad.
