Hyundai Launches New Line in Brazil

Yes, we are a little envious.

What have we learned from the Sao Paulo Motor Show? First and foremost, automakers are chomping at the bit to get into this growing South American market. Second, the clear view is that CUVs are the main entry point.

While the new Nissan Extrem concept is the true winner of the show, we're also intrigued by Hyundai's first official entry into the HB (Hyundai Brasil) line. The HB20X is the first to hit. It is basically a CUV version of the Elantra GT, but with a luxury interior and a 128 hp, 1.6.-liter Gamma I4 engine.
