A College Football Player Utilized Halftime Of His Team's Game By Going On Twitter

Fail!

None

UMass cornerback D'Metrius Williams was feeling himself a little too much going into halftime of his team's game against Bowling Green this afternoon. So much so that during the break in play, Williams went on Twitter to do a little bragging. “IM OUT HERE BALLIN,” the freshman's tweet read. “2nd half bouta get started time to get mo’ money.” In addition, Williams had a hilarious interaction with UMass beat writer, Harry Plumer.

While the act of tweeting during halftime isn't illegal, it is definitely frowned upon which would explain why Williams has since deleted the message and issued an apology tweet. Oh well. Let's just chalk it up as a freshman mistake. Every collegiate athlete gets one pass, right?
