We've been making fun of the Lamborghini Gallardo for bursting into flames for no reason for years. It happens so frequently that one almost assumes it was an intentional feature designed to add excitement.
No, apparently Lamborghini finally got tired of getting complaints about how little skin Gallardo owners have left and recalled the cars. 1,500 cars from model years 2004 through 2008 have been recalled for fuel pumps that, when leaky, spew highly flammable gasoline on a ripping hot, race-bred V10 engine.
