Roger Clemens' 10 Most Jackass Moments

5. Rocket Wins MVP, Threatens Hank Aaron

Date: November 1986

In 1986 Clemens had a dominating season. He won 24 games, struck out close to 250 batters and had an ERA of 2.48. The Rocket became one of only eight guys in MLB history to win both the MVP and Cy Young Award in the same season.

Hank Aaron let it be known that he thought pitchers shouldn't be eligible to win the MVP on the basis of their only playing a fifth of the games. To which Clemens peacefully responded, "I wish he were still playing. I'd probably crack his head open to show him how valuable I was." Where do those dumb jock stereotypes come from again?
