Researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials (IFAM) recently unveiled this concept hydrogen fuel cell powered rickshaw, further conmplicating the idea of a rickshaw. Dubbed the Hydrogenia, the four-wheeled ride is powered by a 250 watt fuel cell with a hydrogen tank installed behind the seat, giving it's rider two very green options for moving about. We're not entirely sure if we'd really consider this a greener alternative to the standard pedal-only rickshaw, but it sure is awesome to see hydrogen power being put to practical use.
