Darrelle Revis Was the Victim of a Crazy Twitter Hacker Yesterday

Check out what the hacker tried to do.

None

While you were busy firing up the grill yesterday, Darrelle Revis was busy trying to put out a wildfire that a Twitter hacker had started on his behalf. Early Wednesday, someone commandeered Revis Island's Twitter account and fired off a tweet ripping Revis' agents for allowing the Jets to trade him to another team. However, by later on in the day, Revis had regained control of his Twitter account and sent out the following tweet:

no worries, i was not traded and my account was hacked, i love @JohnGeiger_ and @schwartzfeinsod , thank you, have a safe and happy 4th!

So, all of that applause you heard coming from New York City last night? It wasn't coming from those gathered at the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks. It was coming from a bunch of Jets fans who were glad that their star cornerback wasn't actually leaving the team.
