Further slowing the adoption of electric vehicles, an electric BYD taxi exploded in China when it was hit by a drunk who was reportedly distracted by female passengers while driving his Nissan GT-R. After a recent series of publicised car battery explosions and fires, we're all just wanting to know if batteries are more or less likely to be set aflame in a crash than gasoline.
