James Glickenhaus' one-off, Pininfarina designed, Ferrari P4/5 Competizione broke the record for "fastest production-derived Ferrari" around the Nurburgring during qualifying for the 24 hour endurance race. The last record was set by the Ferrari 599XX in 2010 at 6:58.16, whereas the P4/5 managed a time of 6:51. That's a hell of a lot faster.
Meanwhile, a Pagani Zonda R lapped the infamous 'ring in 6:47.50. That's scary fast.
