Today in Shanghai, Chevrolet announced an official partnership with Premier League giant Manchester United. The 5-year sponsorship includes the creation of the Chevrolet China Cup (part of Man U's 2012 tour) and is part of a larger commitment to the future of international football. The collaboration was celebrated at the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and included an appearance by Ryan Giggs.
This is the first time a US-based automotive maker has linked with an English football club.
