UCLA basketball is back. And Kentucky basketball is better than ever.

That was the consensus last night when the top two college basketball recruits in the country announced where they'll be playing next season. Swingman Shabazz Muhammad—pictured above and ranked No. 1 in the 2012 Rivals 150—announced that he will be joining the Bruins of UCLA next season. Meanwhile, shot-blocker Nerlens Noel—ranked No. 2 in the 2012 Rivals 150—is headed to Kentucky to play for John Calipari's Wildcats. And he made his announcement in dramatic fashion by shaving the "UK" logo into the back of his head.

Let the games begin. Er, wait. What do you mean we still have to wait six months to see either of them play? Man, do we miss college basketball already.
