Granted, that's a fairly realistic stuffed animal.

The police in Nottinghamshire, UK broke the front driver's side window of 80 year old Gordon Williams' Mercedes in an attempt to save a stuffed dog from the stifling heat. They were responding to a tip from a concerned citizen.

Williams appears to have taken it in stride. "I know Little Willy is quite realistic and if they weren't sure about it, they did a good thing as we don't want any more dogs dying in the heat of a car." He also stated that Little Willie would be staying at home from now on.

The police are paying to have the window replaced and the officers involved are no doubt being mocked mercilessly back at the station.
