Golden State Warriors fans are tortured souls. They've stood by their team through the good and the bad. But, it all came to a head when the new sheriff in town, Joe "Bold Moves" Lacob, signed off on a trade that would send their most exciting player, Monta Ellis to the Bucks for a talented, but fragile Andrew Bogut and former darling Stephen Jackson. And if that wasn't enough, Lacob then flipped Cap'n Jack to the Spurs for a washed-up Richard Jefferson. So, on Chris Mullin NIght, the fans did what any true fan would do, unmercifully boo the man responsible for their season tickets turning to shit.
The Warriors, much like the Clippers, have had a history of shooting themselves in the foot with "bold moves." Grantland's Bill Simmons breaks down Golden State's head-scratching front office deals since they last won an NBA title in 1975 in How to Annoy a Fan Base in 60 Easy Steps.
